Ole Serai Luxury Camp has two camps located in Central Serengeti. The first camp, branded as Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Moru Kopjes, is just a few meters from a spot along the Mbalageti-Seronera River between the Rongai and Nyaroboro Hills. The twin second camp, branded as Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Turner Springs, is set in the heart of Seronera - around 17 km from the park headquarters and airstrip. The picturesque location is surrounded by desirous acacia trees that provide wild tranquility amidst grazing herbivores and stalking carnivores.

Both the Ole Serai Luxury Camps at Moru Kopjes and Turner Springs are deluxe accommodation, perfect for your dream trip to Africa. The sites of the camps ensure that you have 180-degree views of the flora and fauna for which Serengeti is known worldwide. Twenty guest tents are available with several sleeping configurations, including fourteen double tents and four twin tents, each measuring 45 square meters, as well as one interconnecting family tent that measures 105 square meters. Begin each day of your mesmerizing wildlife holiday awakening to the savannah plains of Tanzania outstretched just beyond your bed. Have a cup of tea or coffee in the comfort of your tent, and then find a cozy place on the private verandah to listen to the echoes of wildlife awakening to the dawn. You are well-rested and ready for the day’s adventure thanks to the memory foam mattress of the bed. Freshen up in the ensuite bathroom, complete with flush toilet, wash basin, and pressurized hot shower. Your tent also includes a hairdryer, personal safe and floor fan. Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Moru Kopjes and Turner Springs have some nice facilities, such as spa, library and a small shop for African souvenirs and other sundries that you may need during your outback travels. Electricity at Ole Serai Luxury Camp is provided via solar energy, and a backup generator is also available if needed. Guests have access to WiFi in the main lounge. Laundry service is available at an extra charge.

Join other guests in the dining area for a morning meal, or you may request a bush breakfast near the hippo pool. Set out with your AfricanMecca guide to begin your bush safari in search of your personal Tanzania adventure. Explore the landscape and locate elephants, giraffes, warthogs, hippos and other resident prey that always have the attention of leopards, cheetahs, lions, hyenas and other plains hunters. The Serengeti Great Wildebeest Migration is in the central region in April and May when proceeding to the western and northern sector, and then again in December and January when heading down to the southern sector. The Seronera area of central Serengeti offers year-round game-viewing experiences with impressive populations of herbivores and carnivores which remain even after the mighty throngs of wildebeests and zebras have gone.

Return to camp for a quick siesta followed by a BBQ lunch, or choose a bush experience at Mawe Meupe, just 15 kilometers from camp. In the afternoon, play board games before setting out once again with your guide to observe nocturnal species and animal behaviors that are unique to the later hours of the day. The sunsets at Serengeti National Park are magnificent, and your afternoon tour ends with sunset cocktails. Enjoy Maasai fire lighting and a lovely barbecue dinner around the campfire, weather permitting.

AfricanMecca also recommends experiencing the balloon safari to view wildlife from a bird’s eye-view in Serengeti National Park. When driving to Ole Serai Luxury Camp from Ngorongoro, you have the opportunity to stop by a Maasai village to learn more about the their culture. Listen as they describe their traditions, share intriguing stories, teach Maa words and describe how to make fire. Should you be planning a romantic escape in Serengeti, Ole Serai Luxury Camp offers a honeymoon offer that includes flowers petals and sparkling wine in your tent and private dining.
