GUIDE ON NIMALI CENTRAL SERENGETI IN TANZANIA
If you desire an exceptional safari where resident species are always present, central Serengeti is for you. Stealth predators are easier to spot all year round, and the energy of the area intensifies in May and June, as well as November and December, when the more than 1.5 million wildebeests of the migration alongside thousands of zebras arrive to graze on the short grass plains.
Relax in comfort and enjoy impressive panoramic views and exciting wildlife experiences at Nimali Central Serengeti, a deluxe bush holiday accommodation located near Makoma Hill in the heart and soul of Serengeti — the Seronera area. Located in a hushed section of the Tanzanian bush, the camp is limited to only eight guest tents for privacy and sits in one of Africa’s most treasured and pristine habitats — one that draws travelers from around the world. Activities at the camp include morning and afternoon game drives, as well as access to hot air ballooning and various day trips.
Accommodation At Nimali Central SerengetiChocolate brown, garnet red, and rich gold accents enhance the monotone décor to create a warm, inviting space. The sleeping area features a bed with upholstered headboard, tasteful nightstands with soft light lamps, an oversized chair, bench at the foot of the bed, writing desk, charging points, and personal safe. A floor fan helps you remain cool during your stay. Heavy drapes section off the ensuite bathroom, which features a vanity with double basins, flush toilet, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, and rain shower. Elegant Persian rugs cover the natural wood floors. Your outdoor space includes a shaded verandah furnished with chairs and tables.
The main area of the camp is all that you would expect from a mid-range safari accommodation for guests who want to experience Serengeti in all its natural beauty. The lounge is furnished with plenty of sofas and chairs, and the dining area is an inviting place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other amenities at Nimali Central Serengeti include 24-hour hot and cold water, complimentary WiFi, spa treatments, and laundry service. Solar energy (with a backup generator) provides electricity to the camp.
Safari At Nimali Central SerengetiTouring the wilds of Tanzania is the highlight of your vacation, and Nimali Central Serengeti offers game drives twice each day. The morning game drive offers superb lighting for photographers and a chance to see unique animal behaviors that occur as daylight overtakes the night. The afternoon game drive provides unique opportunities to view nocturnal African animals and observe behaviors that aren’t seen during your morning bush tour.
Nimali Central Serengeti operates year-round, so guests will always see resident species, such as the Big 5 of Africa. You can find predators throughout the year, and the Great Wildebeest Migration traverses the area in May and June, as well as November and December. We recommend that you plan to spend a few days at the camp after visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater. Hot air ballooning in Serengeti is an incredible addition to your itinerary and offers new and breathtaking perspectives of the flora, fauna, and terrain.
Dining At Nimali Central SerengetiNatural wood floors, elegant taupe chairs, white tablecloths, glistening china and silverware, and the wide-open plains of the Serengeti greet you at every meal. The chef prepares dishes created with fresh, local ingredients that appease both the stomach and eyes. Breakfast may include a selection of cereals, eggs, toast, meats, fruit, and refreshing beverages, while lunch is often a selection of salads, meat platters, cheese, and other delectable tidbits. Dinner is a gastronomical affair that unfolds under the starlit skies of Africa. For a unique culinary experience, we can arrange bush breakfasts and picnic lunches to coincide with your game drives.

AfricanMecca's professionalism and care understands that what distinguishes Africa is its authenticity, the land, people and wildlife who do not share our world of fashion and fanfare that distinguish so many travel companies today.
