The impressive year-round wildlife viewing of central Serengeti draws guests from around the world, and the intense safari experience is amplified in May-June and November-December with the traversal of the Great Migration heading west and south respectively. Over 1.5 million wildebeests, accompanied by thousands of zebras, enter the area as part of a continuous route driven by the need for grazing grounds and water. These animals must escape not only famine, but also hungry predators, including lions on land and crocodiles in the water. Looking into their eyes, you see a combination of desperation and determination that tests even the hardiest of these massive beasts.

Located in a picturesque setting an hour from Nabi Hill, Siringit Serengeti Camp offers an all-canvas authentic travel escape for those who want to see one of the most breathtaking landscapes in all of Africa, its resident species, and the thundering excitement of the Great Wildebeest Migration as it passes through the heart of Serengeti. AfricanMecca guests savor every moment of the dichotomy between serenity and intense energy that fills the air.

Accommodation At Siringit Serengeti Camp

With only nine tents including a two-bedroom family tent, Siringit Serengeti Camp allows for privacy and personal connection with nature, and the staff ensures that every need is met with a warm smile. Imagine awakening to a glorious sunset each morning, barely needing to move to see the expansive grasslands where herbivores graze and predators use the utmost stealth to find a meal. The authentic grandeur tents measuring 45 square metres are designed to minimize the impact on the treasured habitat. A teak platform set thirty centimeters above the ground provides support for your luxury safari holiday accommodation in the Tanzania bush country.

The large sleeping area features a bed, nightstands, and lamps. At the foot of the bed is a small sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. An ensuite bathroom features a his and her wash basins, flush toilet, and shower. Guest tents also include a hairdryer, personal safe, gas heater, and roll-up canvas doors and windows. The family tent consists of two bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms that can accommodate up to six people on their safari in Serengeti. The main area of the camp features a dining area and lounge with a stocked bar. Wireless internet and laundry service are available, and electricity comes from solar energy with a silent backup generator.

Safari At Siringit Serengeti Camp

Join your guide for a mesmerizing trip into the remote areas of Serengeti National Park, where elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other large grass munchers linger about, looking for the tastiest fare. Not far away, hunched down in the vegetation, lies a clever lion in waiting. In the early evening, you’ll venture out yet again.

Central Serengeti area of Seronera will capture your heart, so we recommend that you plan your dream vacation accordingly. Spending extra days at Siringit Serengeti Camp allows time for maximum wildlife viewing opportunities. The abundance of feathered fauna in the park captivates the minds of bird lovers of all ages and experience levels. One of the most breathtaking ways to experience this part of Tanzania is to float high above the plains in a hot air safari balloon.

What We Like About Siringit Serengeti Camp

  1. Siringit Serengeti Camp is a small accommodation with only nine tents including a two-bedroom family tent.
  2. The camp operates in a beautiful location within the park, 6 km east of Seronera Airstrip, and is close to prime viewing sites.
  3. Siringit Serengeti has a minimal footprint on nature and provides guests with an authentic safari experience.
  4. The chef of the camp is known for creating extraordinary dishes for guests.
  5. There is a high concentration of resident wildlife around the camp, as well as migratory species in May-June and November-December.

Things To Note When Staying At Siringit Serengeti Camp

  1. The camp is suited to all travelers and is not specifically family-oriented.
  2. Some guests may find the luxury design of Siringit Serengeti Camp not fitting for the wilderness. Also, walking safaris are not available at this camp due to its central Serengeti location.
  3. Siringit Serengeti primarily runs on solar energy power; though, relies also on a back-up generator instead of a stored energy inverter system when the solar panels are inadequate on overcast days.
  4. Availability may be limited during peak season, as the camp only offers 9 tents — we recommend booking at least 12 to 18 months in advance.
  5. The costs of staying at the camp are on the higher side in comparison to other camps with similar standards.
