- The Ark is reached via Aberdare Country Club and is a forty-minute drive.
- It is around 7 miles from Mweiga airfield; a one-hour drive from Nyeri airstrip and a two-hour drive from Nanyuki airstrip.
- The Ark has 60 "cabin-styled" rooms, comprising of 6 singles, 37 twins, 10 doubles and 7 triple-bed cabins.
