Despite being sited in Upper Hill close to the heart of the buzzing Kenyan city of Nairobi, Fairview Hotel is a tranquil property laid out among acres of lush greenery. Colonial style, two story buildings are scattered around offering guests on their Nairobi stopover tour a peaceful oasis, secluded from the pulsating activities of the city. A value accommodation, the Fairview Hotel is primarily suited to business travelers, but also a small number of leisure lodgers who are passing through the city on their safari adventures in Kenya. The hotel also offers apartments to business or expat guests on a longer stay with a secure parking area and all the facilities of the main hotel. The Fairview Hotel has rooms in many categories for you to choose from while on your African city vacation. Choose the Economy Single Room if you are a lone guest or an Economy Double with twin or double beds. Many of the rooms are set amidst the gardens and come with attached shower bathrooms. A few of the rooms also include a bath. All the rooms are accessible only by your own electronic key cards and have safes to keep your valuables benign. You can stay up to date with world events with the satellite TV or keep in touch with home with your room telephone and speedy Wi-Fi services. The rooms also have a writing desk for your use, and while you work, if you need a hot cup of tea or coffee, feel free to use the tea/coffee maker placed in your room. No matter which category of rooms you choose, the hotel offers you complimentary breakfast that is served in the Mitende Atrium. If you are looking for larger accommodations on your Kenya city holiday, choose from the Business Class Rooms. These rooms include all the amenities of the Economy rooms, and in addition, a few have their own balconies. The First Class Rooms are located on the ground floor of the hotel allowing guests great views and access to the garden. Roomy and very comfortable, aside from other amenities they include a separate seating area and a 38? Flat screen T.V with satellite channels. They also have a fridge and an ironing station. In addition to the Wi-Fi services as in other rooms, the First Class rooms also have a wired Internet Connection. The bathrooms are more spacious and have a shower area and a bath. Guests can also spend time in the First Class lounge if they please. If you intend to extend your Nairobi metropolitan trip to more than a few days or weeks, you might choose the air-conditioned Suites ranging from Small, Large To Executive. These have distinct sleeping and living rooms and also have kitchenettes for your use. You can access the First Class lounge or relax in your own secluded garden and some available with a swimming pool. The top category Executive Suite has a bedroom, a private sitting room and two bathrooms. The Fairview Hotel offers guests a range of meal venues such as the Pango, a fine brasserie with its own subterranean Wine Bar, the Mukutan Garden Café, the Pwani Pool Restaurant and the Mitende Atrium. The hotel also has a separate list of cocktail venues for their guests—the Pool Deck, Aquarist, Atrium, Water Feature and Wine Cellar. If you are planning on hosting an event, choose from the hotel’s many venues.
