EAST AFRICAN HOTEL IN ARUSHA
East African Hotel is an all-suite 40 room accommodation in Arusha that offers AfricanMecca guests “a good value” friendly lodging choice without sacrificing modern conveniences. The suites feature separate seating and sleeping areas to give you ample room for lounging and resting. For the sleeping area, you may choose a room with one queen bed or two twin beds. The lounge area features a work/office area with a writing desk and an executive chair, as well as a conversation area with a sofa, deep width chairs, coffee table and flat screen television with satellite channels. In-room amenities are wireless internet, mini bar, personal safe and small tea/coffee maker. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in The Continental Restaurant, and the cuisine is a blend of East African and international dishes. All meals are buffet-style, as well as some select lunch and dinner dishes that may be ordered from the menu. While on holiday in Tanzania, you are encouraged to treat yourselves to some of the best coffee in the world at the Savannah Coffee Lounge, an excellent place to sample Tanzania’s finest coffee or enjoy a delightful cocktail while socializing or watching sporting events on large screen televisions. The lounge also offers a small selection of snacks, pastries and sandwiches. For a sampling of the cultural experiences that are popular during Africa safari tours, you may choose to spend your evenings relaxing on cozy sofas in the Savannah Bar while watching members of the local communities perform traditional dances or simply head off during the day to cultural villages around Arusha for a complete ethnic experience (read more on when is the best time to visit Arusha). After a busy day of exploring all that Arusha has to offer, you may choose to lounge by the pool or burn some extra calories in the hotel’s exercise room.
Getting to East African Hotel from the Kilimanjaro International Airport takes only 60 minutes, and the hotel is located on Old Moshi Road in the city of Arusha. AfricanMecca guests don’t have to go far to enjoy the city’s many attractions, such as local farmer’s and Maasai markets, historical sites and cultural tours of Arusha and the nearby communities. Staying at East African Hotel also means that many of Tanzania’s most spectacular natural treasures are just a short drive away. The Ngorongoro Crater is around four hours from the hotel, and a two-hour drive takes you to the breathtaking experience of Lake Manyara and Tarangire. Some of the other wilderness destinations that are only small distances from the hotel are Arusha National Park, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro National Park (view an overview map of Arusha to plan your trip). Travelers who are on work-related trips in Arusha also appreciate the amenities at this business-friendly Tanzania hotel, such as the conference facilities, auditorium and fully-equipped business center with computers and high speed internet for checking email and surfing the web, as well as printers, copier and fax machine.

AfricanMecca's professionalism and care understands that what distinguishes Africa is its authenticity, the land, people and wildlife who do not share our world of fashion and fanfare that distinguish so many travel companies today.
