NEPTUNE PALM BEACH BOUTIQUE RESORT & SPA IN MOMBASA
If you would like to spend your seaside vacation in Mombasa on Diani Beach, one of the most stunning beaches in Kenya, you may opt for the budget Neptune Palm Beach Boutique Resort and Spa; though, it is no close to a proper “Boutique Resort” with it sixty rooms, not premier or luxurious at all and fine cuisine all-inclusive standards being average and repetitive or fused on longer stays. Located on the South Coast of Mombasa, constructed using Swahili building styles, this value accommodation is accessible from the Ukunda Airstrip, which is about 5 miles away. You could also land at Moi International Airport and reach the resort in about two hours from there via the busy Likoni Ferry. The Neptune Palm Beach is arranged in prettily landscaped gardens and comprises of a collection of multi-room cottages with roofs made of makuti palm leaves. The 60 rooms offered by the resort are also sited in these cottages with four rooms per cottage. You can choose from rooms in three categories as per your preference during your coastal trip in Kenya with AfricanMecca. If you have a baby with you, the accommodation provides cribs at your request. The Deluxe Rooms have an area of 34 square meters. They come with king-size beds draped with mosquito nets. The rooms have air-conditioning and TVs with satellite connections. Other basic amenities that you might expect in a modest accommodation are also included such as mini fridges, and tea and coffee makers. Safes are also provided for your use and Wi-Fi service is complimentary. The bathrooms have distinct shower areas and have hairdryers for your use. Relax on your terrace in lamu day beds. The Deluxe Seaside Rooms include all the amenities of the Deluxe Rooms but in addition they are located closer to the swimming pool. You can also choose the Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms if you would like rooms with a view of the swimming pool, garden and part view of the Indian Ocean. The Mnazi is the resort’s main restaurant and serves a selection of global and local dishes to guests on their ocean holiday in East Africa. Breakfast is served buffet style, and though the timings are up to 10.00 am, they will serve you until noon on occupancy demands. They also serve lunch and dinner at set times. If you would like to sample seafood preparations, you can order them off the menu. All inclusive guests can also order fruit juices, water, Kenyan beer, soft drinks and house wines. Tea and coffee are also available. The restaurant offers vegetarian dishes also and you can request for special food for the baby. The Mawimbi Deck is the resort's lounge where you can relax and read a book while sipping a hot cup of tea, espressos or cappuccinos. Giving you a sweeping view of the Indian Ocean and set beside the pool, this lounge transforms into a dining area that serves seafood. You can have drinks at the resort’s two bars, the Kisiwa Bar and the Pool Bar. Or enjoy a massage session with aromatic oils at the resort’s 5enses Sea Spa. It also has a parlor for beauty treatments. You could stop by at the gift shop for souvenirs that complement your beach tour of the Indian Ocean. Before arrival, contact AfricanMecca Safaris for more details of booking your city tour of Mombasa, diving or snorkeling at Kisite Marine Park or even an overnight safari to Tsavo East National Park.
