The hotel has rooms in various specifications for AfricanMecca guests on their seaside holiday in Watamu. All the suites and villas include a safe deposit locker for your valuables and facilities for storing your excess luggage while on safari. Wi-Fi services and TVs with satellite channels are also available. The Medina Suite includes a king size four-poster bed with a distinct private lounge, dining area and kitchen. This suite opens into the gardens through a patio. The Medina Deluxe Suites include the amenities of the Medina Suites but have two spacious bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom. The Medina Penthouse is located at a higher level and includes its own central enclosure covered by a high ceiling that is vaulted. Aside from two spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, the penthouse also has a seating area with a balcony, private plunge pool, exclusive kitchen and dining area. The Medina Ocean Lodges mimic the specifications of the penthouse but have an added bedroom and offer you stunning views across the gardens and on to the splendid Indian Ocean. The Palmerie Beach Villa at Medina Palms is a distinct cottage that features a large bedroom on the ground floor with living and dining areas. It also has an exclusive kitchen and a plunge pool in its private enclosure. Two more bedrooms are sited on the upper floor while the part-sheltered terrace is set for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the ocean. The Ocean Villa is another cottage that has amenities just as in the Palmerie. Greater care has been taken in all details of this boutique villa. The Medina Palms serves breakfast at its Amadina Restaurant, but you can feel free to have your meals served at whatever location you choose. Order a bite or drink at any time of the day or visit the different joints the resort has such as the Coffee Shop, Long Bar or Star Lounge. Each has a menu that is unrivalled in taste and flavor. You can ask for specific choices cooked to your taste. Picnic beside a pool, on the beach sands or request the services of an in-house chef to cook a private meal for you. Revel in every holistic moment of your coastal vacation on the Indian Ocean by taking calming massages at the spa or working out under a personal trainer at the gym. Medina Palms also has the activity hire equipment you need for kite surfing, kayaking or board surfing. You can go snorkeling, scuba diving or land the biggest fish of your life on an ocean excursion with AfricanMecca. Spend time on a game of golf at Vipingo Ridge or visit the many interesting tour attractions around Watamu i.e. Mida Creek for a sunset dhow cruise, bird spotting and mangrove expedition, Gedi Ruins to solve its historic mysteries of its abandonment, Watamu Marine Park for the aquatic life, Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reserve for birdlife, butterflies and walking trail experiences.
