NEPTUNE PARADISE BEACH RESORT & SPA IN MOMBASA
If you would like to take a beach vacation in Kenya by staying in a hotel-like cottage with an African feel, choose the Neptune Paradise Beach Resort and Spa. This budget accommodation is located on the beautiful Diani Beach sited on the South Coast, off the island city of Mombasa in magical Kenya. It is accessible from both Ukunda Airstrip that is about 3 miles away and the Moi International Airport at 28 miles via the Likoni Ferry. The accommodation offers you standard amenities and friendly service and is set among strikingly landscaped gardens with baobab trees and frolicking primates. The food might not be of superior satisfaction in terms of both quality and variety but is expected from a value all-inclusive accommodation geared towards the mass market arriving by charter flights into Mombasa. The Neptune Paradise Beach Resort and Spa has 92 rooms in different specifications for guests on their beach travels in South Coast Mombasa. You will be accommodated in divided bungalows, each with four cottage rooms. The bungalows have conical roofs made of dried palm leaves – Makuti giving them a local village look. The Superior Rooms have air conditioning and the beds are covered with mosquito nets. The resort also provides a small fridge and a tea and coffee maker in all rooms. A mini safe comes with the room along with a TV with satellite connection. Wi-Fi services are complimentary. Some rooms have a balcony if on the top level or patio for a ground level chamber, and the bathrooms come equipped with a hairdryer and a shower area. The other rooms of the hotel also include all the amenities as described. Some Superiors allow you to walk out into the garden from the rooms. The Superior Baobab Rooms offer you a picturesque view of the stately “up-side down” trees and others offering garden access in addition to the tree views. If you choose the Superior Ocean Front Rooms, you will be able to view the resort’s swimming pool, garden and the Indian Ocean partially. However, if you want garden access with partial ocean front view, choose the Superior Ocean Front Garden Access Rooms.Have your meals on your coastal holiday in Africa at the Peponi, the resort’s main restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here within set timings. Though, the accommodation can serve breakfast up to noon depending on the occupancy levels. Selected drinks such as soft drinks, local beer, water, juices, tea and coffee are inclusive with your meal. You can order snacks at the poolside Olive Kitchen at lunchtime and if you should like to order an a la carte seafood dinner, do make reservations in advance. Before your stroll on the beach, order tea and coffee at the beachfront Deck Restaurant. And, if you would like a sandwich snack with a cold drink as you enjoy a warm swim, order your preference at the poolside Jungle Restaurant. The resort also has two in-house bars. The Main Bar and the Boat Bar. You can order any variety of house cocktails, soft drinks, juices and beer. Also, choose from a selection of international and local wines and alcoholic drinks – some liquid connoisseurs at an extra supplement. The Neptune Paradise Beach Resort and Spa has a range of activities and facilities that can make your seaside visit on the Indian Ocean exciting. AfricanMecca Safaris can make all other arrangements for you if you would tour the island (read more on when is the best time to go to Mombasa).

My daughter's and my trip that AfricanMecca arranged to South Coast Mombasa, Diani Reef Beach Resort was awesome. We laid on the beach quite a bit, but did manage to take in camel rides and also snorkelling.
