BREEZES BEACH CLUB & SPA IN ZANZIBAR
The Breezes Beach Club & Spa is a mid-range, sprawling property located on Bwejuu Beach on the southeast section of Zanzibar. Thatched roofs cover the common areas alongside their classic Zanzibari furniture and decor that lend an exquisite coastal Swahili ambience to your seaside vacation in Zanzibar. Open on all sides, the lounge, bars and restaurants are bathed with the soothing ocean breezes wafting through them. They offer you enchanting views of the ocean and beautifully landscaped gardens resplendent with tropical flowers. Lounge beside the free-form pool or head out to the Frangipani Spa for a session of languid indolence. You will be staying over in one of their 74 rooms during your AfricanMecca dream trip in Zanzibar. These rooms are housed in two-story bungalows including Deluxe Rooms, Suites and also Standard Rooms located at the far rear of the resort with views of the back garden and terrace. The Deluxe Rooms are located on the lower floor of the bungalows with a portioned patio. The Suites are on the upper story and include the use of its private terrace furnished with lounge chairs and sunbeds. The sleeping quarters come with air-conditioning, mini-fridge, hairdryer and safe deposit box. The rooms also each have a sofa that can be converted into an added single bed for an extra third guest. Enjoy delicious meals at their selection of restaurants, Salama Dining Room, The Breakers Grill, The Tides and The Sultan's Table. They also have a collection of bars, The Safari Bar, The Dhow Bar located by the pool and The Baraza Bar. Stop at The Chai Room for tea, coffee and snacks. Bwejuu Beach is only one of the distinct beaches of Zanzibar Island, and you could begin your explorations with viewing the underworld marine life either at the coral reefs around Breezes or even heading out northeast to Mnemba Atoll, close to Matemwe. The splendid coral gardens and their myriad inhabitants can be viewed by taking scuba diving and snorkeling tour of the underworld. On shore, in the heart of Zanzibar Island is the Jozani Forest, a special area set aside for the conservation of the kirk’s red colobus monkey where you can also view varieties of flora and other smaller fauna. Another must visit on your holiday in this precinct of East Africa is the island's ancient capital, Stone Town. Narrow alleyways lined with tiny duka shops sell you the most amazing of wares just as they have for centuries. Bargain enchanting artifacts even as you view the many architectural wonders, each a silent, stalwart reminder of a different era of Zanzibar's dramatic past. Your expert AfricanMecca guide will talk to you about the history of the Anglican Church, House of Wonders, Sultan's Palace and many more. Understand why this island was such as vital part of the spice route, you could visit the spice farms. Taste the seasonings fresh off the trees, learn their names and perhaps, also their harvesting techniques. Also, revel in the taste of the unusual fruits you see. Or go on a fishing foray in the many deep water sites around the island and make your adventure travel in Tanzania more memorable by the marlin, swordfish, kingfish, yellow-fin tuna, wahoo and other fish you may catch.

The Zanzibar Stone Town tour guide was superlative. He was outstanding and gave us undivided attention. We felt that was great value and to be escorted round the market place and slave stations was like walking in a living museum.

We have returned from our African adventure and would like to thank you very much for your part in making this such a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to time the Great Migration from the Serengeti, which was amazing.
Denise Paterson - Belmont, Australia
Ras Nungwi was a beautiful property, the pristine white beach not more than forty feet from our lovely room, the Indian Ocean sublime. Raza, it was the vacation of a lifetime, again, thanks so much.
