Navigation Tip - Go Directly To Prices, Reviews, Map, Photos, Video & Room Rate Guide For Kiboko Luxury Camp

Kiboko Luxury Camp is a renewed combination of a traditional camping experience fused with superior comforts of deluxe accommodation for expedition guests on their Great Rift Valley safari holiday in East Africa. It is located on the spacious lawns of the Lake Naivasha Country Club in central Kenya and lies right next to Lake Naivasha. The camp has only 8 tents and can accommodate a single person or couple. The addition of a third bed may be a possibility for a family traveling with a young child. Each tent is erected on a hardwood platform raised on stilts with an enclosed area of 60 square meters. The tent is made up of canvas walls with netted windows that can be closed with roll-up canvas drapes while the entrance to the tent is a wide zip-up flap doorway Aside from the four-poster double bed, every tent has a writing table, chair and a wooden wardrobe so you can unpack for your bush tour of Lake Naivasha. The camp provides you with hot water bottles every night as it can get chilly at times supplemented with supplies for making tea and coffee in your room. Bathrooms are attached and have twin basins and the amenities include are bottled water for brushing, weight scale, hairdryer, bathrobe to washing up toiletries. Two comfortable chairs are placed within the tent, and lounge chairs are laid out on the patio outside the tent so AfricanMecca guests can just sit and watch as the animals wander on the grounds. A vervet monkey might even decide to visit you as you relax in your chair on your intimate lake trip in Rift Valley Kenya.

Birds are everywhere, and you will be stunned to see the many species. Lake Naivasha has recorded more than 450 varieties of birds and from your deck, you might be able to see flamingos and fish-feeders like the cormorants, pelicans, fish eagles and many more. Diverse antelopes, giraffes and zebras often come by grazing on the foliage around the lawns, and on request, the staff of the camp can awaken you at night to watch the hippos as they come to feed outside your tent or to glimpse at an elusive leopard passing by. You may dine by the lake lawn or in the communal dining tent, and drinks such as tea/coffee, local beers, house wines and soft drinks are included in your rooming costs at an all-you-can-drink basis. Enjoy savory snacks and sweet confectionary during your afternoon tea accompanied by coffee and herbal teas. Kiboko Luxury Camp offers you a tranquil vacation experience in Kenya. Living in a tented room with wildlife all around you is an adventure by itself. But you can also take guided walks to view more of the colorful bird life of Lake Naivasha. Boat rides on the lake will take you to see hippos wallowing in the swamps and many other animals like buffalos, tiny dik diks, wildebeests, zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, waterbucks, impalas and elands coming to drink at its shores (read more on when is the best time to go to Lake Naivasha). When planning your itinerary with AfricanMecca Safaris, your tour consultant will chat to you about extending your trip to Lake Nakuru National Park and Hell's Gate National Park for a diversified and wholesome Rift Valley experience.
