ZANZI RESORT IN ZANZIBAR
Only a mere 20 minutes from the capital Stone Town of Zanzibar is the secluded beach of Fuji near Salem Village (north of Bububu) and the 15 acre estate of Zanzi Resort, a deluxe boutique accommodation for your intimate Indian Ocean beach vacation in Tanzania. Arrive at the resort and you will be immersed in a tranquil world of natural beauty carefully preserved by the eco-friendly principles by which the resort is run. You will be struck by the riot of color that the flowers impart against the backdrop of the shimmering blue waters, white sand beaches and lush tropical vegetation. The trees and surrounding flora serve to provide you with the privacy you need as you spend time in your private villa and makuti thatched gazebo where you can laze your afternoons away. The western side of Zanzibar where Zanzi Resort is located has primarily a mixture of coral, rocky and sandy beaches, and thus not the best of beaches compared to northern, eastern and southern Zanzibar e.g. Kendwa, Matemwe, Nungwi, Pongwe, Bwejuu etc. On the positive side, Zanzi Resort offers a secluded, beach in comparison, albeit on a miniscule patch that is covered up during high tide. Zanzi Resort offers just 7 individual villas to accommodate 4 guests each, built with eco-friendly materials and decorated with enchanting African motifs. You will find that this theme is reflected in the decor of the villas with their vibrant furnishings that light up your sitting room and dining area. The bed is covered with diaphanous mosquito netting that lends a dreamy feel to the room. The en-suite bathroom comes with a shower area, bidet, washbasin, flush toilet and the superior amenities typical of a deluxe accommodation. AfricanMecca highly recommends Zanzi Resort to distinct romantic couples and honeymooners seeking a small, intimate seaside lodging with high levels of personalized services.Spend unhurried hours swimming in your private pool or sunbathing on the daybeds beside it. The villa also has air conditioning, music player and television. Some of the villas have bedrooms built into the branches of a tree so families with your children can subtly get the ambience a tree house holiday in Africa. Have your meals in the privacy of your villa or in the resort’s restaurant or try your hand learning how to cook them with the resort chef. Savor the seafood delicacies flavored with fragrant spices and fresh vegetables from the hotel garden that make every meal memorable. After the sun dips below the horizon bathing the sky in glorious colors, enjoy starlit dinners on the beach on low tide, lighted with lanterns and candles. From Zanzi Resort, you could go swimming in the ocean or scuba diving and snorkeling at varied reefs to discover a delightful marine world hidden beneath the calm, azure waters. Many colorful creatures like reef fish, seahorses, octopus, crabs, turtles and many more flit among the living coral gardens. Explore the ancient town of Zanzibar with its coral limestone, lichen-covered mansions and imposing architectural wonders. Feel like Swahili royalty as you inspect the wares of the tiny dukas even as the wizened craftsman tries to interest you in more of his handcrafted treasures. With your AfricanMecca guide, go primate viewing in the Jozani Forest and watch the red colobus monkeys in their natural habitat. You could also add a tour of the spice and fruit orchards to your Zanzibar trip itinerary. Learn the special harvesting techniques of the zests and taste the unique fruits with their delectable flavors. Optionally, spend an afternoon of angling aboard one of the specialized fishing boats. At the end of another exciting day, return to your villa and relive every moment of your dream travel in East Africa even as the concierge tends to the villa and anything else you may need.

The Zanzibar Stone Town tour guide was superlative. He was outstanding and gave us undivided attention. We felt that was great value and to be escorted round the market place and slave stations was like walking in a living museum.

I booked my safari holiday through AfricanMecca. They were the most helpful company I have ever dealt with and I work within the travel industry. I had the most amazing time. The holiday went as clockwork with no hitches anywhere.

We have returned from our African adventure and would like to thank you very much for your part in making this such a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to time the Great Migration from the Serengeti, which was amazing.
Denise Paterson - Belmont, Australia
Ras Nungwi was a beautiful property, the pristine white beach not more than forty feet from our lovely room, the Indian Ocean sublime. Raza, it was the vacation of a lifetime, again, thanks so much.

EAST AFRICA SAFARI & BEACH BOOKING TRIP IDEA FOR ZANZI RESORT IN ZANZIBAR TANZANIA
When beach vacationing at Zanzi Resort in Zanzibar, we recommend experiencing some of the surrounding Zanzibar Island attractions and tour activities after your Northern Tanzania safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.
You may optionally extend out to offbeat parks in Southern and Western Tanzania such as Selous, Ruaha or Katavi ending with a chimpanzee trekking safari at Gombe or Mahale by the relaxing Lake Tanganyika.
