Navigation Tip - Go Directly To Prices, Reviews, Map, Photos, Video & Room Rate Guide For Five Volcanoes Boutique HotelSited 3 kilometers away or 10 minutes’ drive from the entrance of the renowned Volcanoes National Park is the Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel. A beautiful mid-range vacation accommodation with sloping roofs and a rock detailing exterior, the hotel has lovely gardens with a variety of trees, shrubbery, and colorful flowers. You can spend time in the charming upper-floor lounge, a lovely open-air nook with thatched roofs. Enjoy the picturesque vistas of the volcanic peaks of the reserve from your vantage point or head for the rectangular swimming pool for a relaxing dip. You could also sunbathe on the wooden decks beside the pool or get a relaxing massage in the hotel spa. Napping in the hammocks scattered across the property is yet another way to revel in the serenity and views of the Parc National Des Volcans (view safari map). The Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel offers a total of 13 rooms to like-minded holidaymakers. Choose from the Standard Rooms, Deluxe Rooms (Double), and Deluxe Rooms (Twin). Larger groups of guests can book the Family Suite or the single stand-alone VIP Cottage, both of which include two bedrooms and a separate living area. Each of the air-conditioned rooms features a flat-screen TV with satellite connection, safe, tea and coffee making supplies, and minibar. The twin or double beds are covered with mosquito netting that may be draped across the four poster beds or suspended from the ceiling. The VIP Cottage has a sofa bed that can sleep an added touring guest and a kitchenette with dining area. Ensuite bathrooms include slippers, hair dryer, and shower area. Some of the rooms may also come with twin vanities.Dine on delicious meals including Continental and vegetarian cuisine in the hotel's restaurant located in the lounge area. You can also order drinks at the bar and sip on them while listening to the sounds of the gorgeous birds in the trees and perhaps even spotting a few indigenous species of the Volcanoes Park like the yellow bodied weavers. The park abounds with more than 178 avian species, and you could see more of them as you follow the trail to meet the elusive mountain gorillas of Rwanda. The country is home to 10 families of these magnificent apes each of which are led by a large dominant silverback male. The precious hour of your tour that you spend in their company will leave an indelible impression of fascination and awe. Watch them as they forage for food or groom one another, oblivious to your presence. As you spend time with them, you will understand the enduring love that Dian Fossey had for them. Trip out to her tomb to pay homage to her life and dedication to these amazing creatures. You can also travel through a different section of the Volcanoes Park, the bamboo forests to view the golden monkeys, another species of rare primates found here. Also, located within the park is the Ngezi Crater Lake of Mount Bisoke or the three breathtakingly scenic lakes of Ruhondo, Burera, and Karago. To interact with the human tribes of this amazing Eden on earth, you must visit the Iby'Iwacu Village. Peek into their age-old cultural customs and traditions and take part in their music and dance forms before moving on to explore the natural rock formations in the Musanze Caves. Head back home with a lifetime of memories locked away, and the reminiscing digital safari images you took.RELATED PAGES: (1) Volcanoes Safari Park Guide, (2) Best Time & Weather To Visit Volcanoes, (3) Safari Lodges, Camps & Hotels In Volcanoes

Things To Note When Staying At Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel
- Room decor needs improvement for an authentic lodge feel
- Hotel-like style rather than an authentic safari lodge e.g. in-room television, air-conditioning, swimming pool
- Due to lack of competition of deluxe accommodations, prices are on the higher side. No backup generator onsite during electricity cuts
- Has high walls around the property that somewhat restrict the view of the Volcanoes wilderness but act as barriers against the sounds of traffic from the road
- Due to its upper floor location, physically challenged guests will find that accessing the lounge and dining area is not possible
