A beautiful country-house, built in the British colonial style of the 1940’s and renovated in the past few years to include up-to-date amenities, Mukima offers guests the ultimate mid-range lodging for a dream vacation in magical Kenya. It is located in the 360-acre Mukima Conservancy in Laikipia with the Mount Kenya, Loldaiga Hills and Aberdare Mountains creating a stunning backdrop for a gorgeous landscape of greenery. A small water body created by a dam and fed by underground sources lies close to the house attracting many avian and smaller herbivores that come to drink. Mukima Conservancy was once covered with cedar trees that were used to build most portions of the house.
