Sunrise Hotel & Restaurant - Zanzibar, Jambiani Beach Sunrise Hotel and Restaurant is small and cozy inn located on the white sandy beach of southern eastern Zanzibar. The hotel was started in 1994 by Georges Noel, a pleasant personality from Belgium who wanted to create an accommodation standard that was affordable but yet didn't comprise on food and quality.

• Sunrise offers two types of rooms: there are five Standard Rooms facing the garden and eight Bungalow Rooms facing the sea. The white sandy beach strip is just a hop skip and jump away. All rooms are self-contained with hot/cold water, ceiling fans, and mosquito nets. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms because the accommodation benefits from direct sea breeze that keeps it cool at all times.
