Tamarind Camp - Tarangire - Tanzania Safaris
Tamarind Camp is a semi permanent, high quality safari camp located on privately owned Maasai land just 15 minutes from the entrance of Tarangire National Park. Perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Tortilis trees and recently renewed, the camp is set in 200 acres of Acacia woodland and bush, right on the boundary of the park. Tarangire is the fourth biggest national park in Tanzania, and its
diverse
habitats support an equally rich variety of mammals, birds and flora making it a delight to explore.
The existence of Tamarind Camp also benefits the local community (Mosakini Village) through direct donations from client revenue. These payments have so far brought a new water line and support the local school.
