A terrible hotel. The porter dumped the bags and put his hand out, without showing us the room. The sheets were soiled and had to be changed. Tusker was KSh 400 each. We had to wait for a table, were not given forks and had to serve ourselves soup. The rooms were like concrete prisons, but the food was OK |

We visited the lodge for 2 nights in October 2005. The luxury rooms are well built but a few minor problems spoilt it for us. The view was superb.
If the owners spent so much money on nice four poster beds the leats they could have done is spent a few dollars on decent chairs in the verandah for their clients to enjoy the view form the balconies. They had put in really cheap wicker chairs which would not allow one to sit for more than a few minutes at a time.
Another bone of contention was the food. Please be prepared to pay for some food of your choice if you are fussy like we were.The food on the buffet was tasteless but the amazing thing was that they actually charged for any food that you ordered if it was not on the buffet table. God help you if you are vegetarian. You would have to pay for all your meals.
Generally the location is really nice but i would give it a 5/10 because of food and general comfort of the guests.
Try out Voi safari lodge thats a bit run down but you would never need to leave the lodge for a game drive as all animals come to the watering hole to drink. the view is amazing and every room accords a view of the hole.The food was okay as well. rate that as 6/10 but the owners need to renovate the rooms urgently. |

We stay at Voi Wildlife Safari Lodge last year; it's a good organised lodge, offering clean rooms, good meals and an excellent guest reception.
During Safari we could see all the most important animals...except the lion! |

I have visited this lodge twice now and am intending to visit again in October along with my son and small grandsons. The accomadation was clean and comfortable. Staff were both helpful and friendly. A super relaxing place too.I would recommend this lodge to the less adventorous and less able,or as a stepping stone to the really wild out doors. Families with Children are made very welcome. |

I stayed there only for lunch, but can tell it is a great place. It is very well kept, clean, the staff is friendly and the surroundings amazing.

Was at the Voi wildlife lodge with my girlfriend Faith on the Christmas of 2003 while on holiday. It is one of the most strikingly serene and beautiful places in our country Kenya. The services and accomodation can be described using one word. Superb. I will certainly go back there upon the completion of my masters degree at the uni of sydney in australia. I really miss a cold tusker in the star-lit night in the park. |
