In contrast to the other three lodges I stayed at I found most of the staff to be unhelpful and sullen. The restaurant was a particularly unpleasant experience unless you like someone hovering over you waiting to whip your plate away at the earliest opportunity. We had to maneuver our double bed away from the wall so that both sides could be accessed. Our travelling companions had a room with no plug on the fan and a waste bin containing used sanitary towels. Would not go back at any price |

Went on a safari booked locally in mombasa. The voi is a stunning lodge with wonderful views. The rooms are good by kenyan standards and the level of service good. The Voi was recommended by fellow travellers and it did not disappoint |

Lovely view even from the safety of the hotel, however take time to go for game drives to enjoy the excitement of seeing the wildlife up close. Loved the view from the dining place and acquired great photos for memories sake. |

I went on a safari with the U.S Navy and I must say it was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life. We had lunch at the Voi lodge and not only was the food amazing but the overall decor and view was breathtaking. I will never ever forget my trip to Tsavo East National Park! |

A magnificent experience! The views are spectacular, the tunnel down to the waterhole gives the best of views of the animals using the waterhole and the cute animals around the lodge are fun to watch. The staff are friendly and helpful, even loaning us some binoculars for the afternoon/evening. The food was tasty and rooms are cdlean (with hot running water) |

Avoid it if you can! We stayed in some fantastic location with variable standards, but all were clean with freindly staff.When you go to kenya expect the the standard to be a little lower as you are miles from anywhere and after all its the animals you want to see and the location. But this place stunk on baboon urine, the rooms were horride and the bathroom unuseable. As a teacher I have stayed in many 2* hotels, but nowhere as bad as this! I have made a formal complait to stop good companies using this lodge. If it were in England it would be closed down due to hygene reglations. |

We stayed at the Voi Safari Lodge which is built high on a bluff and has spectacular views over a waterhole and a large,flat,open plain. You can see for miles .Try and catch the sunrise in the morning as you see it rise over the horizon, it's breathtaking! As for the hotel itself,sadly it didn't compare so well with the other two places we stayed. The food wasn't as good and it had a slightly rundown feel to it. However the view makes up for it and is well worth a visit for that reason alone. |

We stayed at 3 different safari lodges, all of them nice but this one had "the view" that none of the others gave. Watching the animals coming into and leaving the watering hole was an experience parallel to none! |

oh my god - this must be the worst hotel i have ever been in my life - i would say it fails to even meet a 2 star rating. the hotel views are fantastic but the accomodaton is of a very very poor standard. Toilet was broken, tiles falling off shower, no air conditioning and the rooms were dirty and falling apart - we had hired 4 rooms and all of the rooms were of as poor standard - never again. |

In 1976, nearly 30 years ago on a trip to Mombasa I took the opportunity to visit Voi Safari Lodge in Kenya. There I was amazed at the wonderful variety of animals visible right from the hotel grounds.
This trip, and the photo safari which began at the hotel, have forever been the most satisfying and gratifying experience of my life. In many years of traveling the world, Voi Safari Lodge is on a short list of places to visit again. |

We went on honeymoon to Tsavo East and West, it was absolutely fantastic, mindblowingly good. Our guide was excellent as was all the accomadation. Want desperatly to go again. |

Had a magilcal stay at Voi about 7 years ago. Whilst there we witnessed wonderful wildlife scenes, the most memorable being hundreds of elephants vacating the water hole to allow a herd of wildebeast to refresh themselves after a long trek to the pool. They allowed them use of the water hole for approx 1 hour then rounded them up and out. It looked like it was choreographed and stage managed, amazing. |

We visited the voi safari lodge for lunch on the 7th December, gorgeous lodge, with spectacular views of the park... miles and miles of untouched scenery. I would most definetly recommend a visit to this lodge. |

Breath taking! i went there 4 years ago and in was the best place i have ever been. The reception and lounge of the lodge is completely open so animals can come and go. One day sitting by the pool and a baboon came and snached a fruit juice drink from a women, then drunk it and put in back down, it was amazing. There is also steps to go underground so you can watch the elephants drinking from the watering hole without them knowing your there. The lodge was friendly and i loved every minute of it. you just got to go to this lodge- trust me the views are out of this world. |
