On my first African game drive I was totally in awe of the landscape and the animals I was fortunate to see.Our guide, Isaac, was so informed about everything, he answered every question we threw at him. We saw the grevy zebra, somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, dik dik, elephants and much more. It was a dream come true. We saw the majestic Mount Kenya in the distance, and passed through Isiolo, which I had read about. |

I stayed at Shaba from 15th-17th October 2005 for my honeymoon. It was simply magnificent. The Staff is polite and courteous and the reception that they gave to my new husband and I was outstanding. our stay was extremely pleasant and we enjoyed the numerous splendid visists from troops of monkeys, the scenic beauty, the cultural exchange with the samburu tribesmen and the overal relaxing atmosphere of the Lodge. The staff is amazing! Please keep it up! |

I stayed at the Shaba with six friends for three weeks in July 2005. The staff were all fantastic the rooms were fantastic and the whole environment was so brilliant I can't find the words. The layout of the main complex with the pool and the bar is exceptional for the full enjoyment factor. The restaurant and its staff were incredible and the food was great and varied. I enjoyed watching the crocodiles being fed and the monkeys having fun. The local dancers were very good as well. |
