It is one of the best places on this earth to visit. If you have half as good a time as I did, it will still be fantastic. I hope to visit again next year but at a different time of the year. I visited in march of last year,(2005) hopefully november of next year, maybe i,ll see you there!!!! bye for now. |

This was my fourth stay at Samburu Serena Lodge. The facility is exceptionally well maintained and comfortable. The rooms are lovely, beds and linens are good. The food is excellent. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful especially in comparison with other safari destinations. The massage therapist is skilled, wonderful after a day of bouncing around in a safari van. |

The remote Samburu Village was the most incredible experience I have ever witnessed. The children were dirty but were singing their abc's at the make sift school. I loved every moment I spent there with the women dancing and chanting with me and the way the men showed us how to start a fire and the blacksmith( with the glasses on) making spears and jewelry. I cried on the way out. They seem to be happy people, they don't know anything else, but I do. I loved it. |

Beautiful setting, amazing wildlife, lovely people. The Samburu Serena Lodge was perfect in every way during our stay there - make sure you watch the crocodile feeds - pretty scary stuff!!! |
