i cannot find the words to describe this whole adventure. the staff, the food, the service, the detail given to our staff was incredible. i am desperate to return and this time for one whole week, rather than for two days. So much to see, hear and do. incredible. totally reclusive, get away from everything leave it all behind and experience the smells, sounds and sights of Kenya. unforgettable experiences for my children. we saw sights that are once in a lifetime. The staff were wonderful, nothing too much trouble, i cannot praise them enough. from cooking meals especially, to singing to us as they walked us to our tents in the evening. sitting on our verandas watching the monkeys and elephants pass by.....................speechless. |

An exceptionally well-run and warmly welcoming place to stay. The food was great, so fresh and all beautifully presented. The guides are fantastic, we saw everything we hoped to and learned a great deal about this unspoilt corner of Africa. The tents were really comfy and hit the right note of being luxurious without going over the top. The staff are genuinely kind and easger to please, and there is a happy atmosphere throughout the camp. |

best place in the whole world!! we didnt know what to expect with it being a 'tent',but it was brilliant you were waited on hand and foot the staff were fantastic and the food wonderful.our tents were fully equiped with hot and cold water showers electric point....everything.the only problem was...that we didnt stop there long enough!!! |

Great tented camp on the river. Good location for game drives. Nice bathrooms in tent. You can view wildlife coming to drink at the river from your deck. Dramatic reception area. |

It's been about a year now and I've just stumbled across your web page but our stay at the Intrepid camp was delightful. I got some great pictures from the camp from some of the flowers planted around the camp. They are framed and hanging in our house. Irrespective, of the flowers, we had a fantastic stay at the camp and would recommend it to anybody as a terrific place to stay when in Africa. Especially memorable was the kindness and friendliness of all of your staff. I don't know if Purity is still there but she is one of the nicest people my wife and I have ever met. |

I loved the tented camp and the wonderful people that work there. The camp was wonderful and relaxing. I would sit on my porch watching the river go by as I wrote or read a book in the afternoons. The game drives were wonderful and had great lion, cheetah and leopard sightings. I plan to go back next year. |

I stayed here three nights June of 2004. Great food, extremely good service and friendly staff. Loved watching the monkeys and meeting the camel guys. We saw gerenuk, so many elephants, cape buffalo, lilac-breasted rollers, vervet monkeys, oryx, impala, many dik-dik, a few ostrich, and two lionesses. We tracked one of them from her footprints on the road. Also saw a yellow chameleon coming out of the high gold grass. Very good shop. "All body" massage was memorable. Email available. We enjoyed the nightly lectures and the nature room. The staff was so kind to us. The manager, Tom Lasarge, visited with guests and made sure everyone had what they needed. Samburu is so beautiful with its blue mountains. This was my fourth trip to Kenya. I'll be back, and I'll stay here again. |
