We stayed here in November 2003 it was truely wonderful. Our room looked out over a vast expanse of land where hurds of elephants roamed free. Nothing could have prepared us for the experience. The food was excellent and the accomodation luxurious and comfortable. |

My first journey to Kenya wouldn't have been so perfect without visiting Ol Tukai Lodge. The service was exellent, the food very good and the views breath-taking. I was there in April 2001 and I shall most certainly return! |

We had an aboslutely lovely time at this camp. This was not the usual type of camp we stay at, we prefer a more intimate camp. However, between the service, wonderful staff and outstanding food, we had a blast. The location is perfect, and we saw much from just walking around the fence. Even Kilimanjaro graced us with a magnificent view. Dont let the pictures fool you, this camp is very nice. I will stay here again in the future. |

Absolutely a wonderful place for observing elephants at very close encounters. We saw about 100 elephants. Old elephants barely keeping up with the herd, and moms with their nursing babies! Our guide Devon was very knowledgeable and made our trip most memorable and exciting. The lodge food was very good and the monkeys make is most enjoyable...they love your sugar packs used for coffee and tea. |

As an older woman traveling alone last January I was so fortunate to stay three nights at Ol Tukai Lodge. The chalet-type cottages were most comfortable, the view from my verdanda was exceptional - being able to see the elephants I so loved, and I felt safe all time I was there. The food was very good. Most important were the wonderful people on the staff that I met. In fact I plan on spending 5 days there next month renewing old acquaintances. The added bonus is that if you love elephants as I do you can get very close to huge herds. On one game drive we had 250 - 300 elephants pass right in front of our vehicle. I only wish I had the time and money to stay there for a month or longer next time! |

I stayed at the Ol Tukai Lodge for several days in July, 2001, and found the grounds beautiful and views incredible, but the rooms were simply adequate and the library far from "well stocked". The pool bar never opened, and the service was menial. |

I have stayed at Ol Tukai Lodge on two separate occasions (Jan. 2001 and Jan. 2002). I absolutely love it. I came to see the elephants, but I went back to see the many Maasai I met at Ol Tukai. The lodge itself is extremely comfortable and safe (I was a 61 year old woman traveling alone). Very comfortable rooms in chalet-type buildings with en suite baths. The buffet-style meals are all very good. I am a very fussy eater, but truly enjoyed all the meals they served. One can sit on their verandas after lunch with your binoculars and watch the elephants in the swamps. The landscaping at the lodge is wonderfully done. Indeed I took 3 rolls of film just of the beautiful plants. The jewel in the crown of Ol Tukai though has to be its tremendously friendly and caring employees. I hope when I go back next time to stay at least a week. |

We have only been there for a full day and night but it was really wonderful. We can recommend it to everybody. The rooms were really exquisit. Maybe we were an little bit lucky because it was our honeymoon, but I heard no complaints of the rest of the group. The view from youor room was really nice. We looked at a large savannah and the other side looked straight at the Kilimanjaro.
Lot of fun in Kenya. |
