We stayed here for 1 night on the 22/09/04 and it was above our expections - Apart from the huge amount of wildlife around the watering hole, the food was first class, and the staff were extremely friendly and could not have made us any more welcome. An excellent place to take in the wildlife - lions were 5 minutes from camp! |

This was a superb experience from the time we arrived as soon as we entered the recption area and walked through to the viewing platform there stood a family of elephants we could not have timed it any better . even after dinner we were contacted by reception to let us know there were lions by the watering hole nothing was too much trouble |

We stayed there two years ago with our wedding party and it was top class. I lived in Kenya for years so it is easy to spot a good value for money lodge. The private game reserve makes that early morning safari very rewarding as you are a stone's throw from lions, waterbuffalo and dikdiks. We even spotted a sleepy owl on a tree close by. The staff are were very attentive, and the rooms exceptionally well maintained. I would recommend it for groups anyday |

Perfect.... is the only word to describe everything about this beautiful lodge. From your first welcome you are made to feel at home. The staff are very attentive and no request is to much for any of them. Five star food is served with five star service.
The water hole provides a wonderful forground with many evening visitors to keep you company during your meal. |

This lodge is the most amazing tranquil retreat! The service is excellent, always the right level of attention.
Food is well presented, freshly cooked and eaten whilst watching the wildlife.
It is a quiet place suitable for undisturbed wildlife and natural scenery viewing. Please do not spoil this retreat. |

We stayed at this lodge in december 2003.and thought it was fantastic. the rooms all have views onto the water hole.they are very clean and bright. we saw cheetah right next to the lodge. the food is of very high standard. and the staff friendly. nothing is too much trouble.it is the sister lodge to the papillon hotel on diani beach, which is equally as good. we would definately return when we are there in december this year. can't wait. |

I have been to a number of lodges in Kenya and Tanzania, and found the Ngutuni to be one of the best. It is relatively new - with a high standard of construction and fittings -but more importantly it isn't too large. It is quite possible to relax in complete quiet on the room balconies, and just watch the wildlife at the waterhole.
In the evening, as well as elephant, we were visited by a very large herd of buffalo - quite an experience.
The staff we excellent, and the food good as well.

Ngutuni Lodge is spectacular. A relatively small lodge, each room having a viewing over its crowning feature - the waterhole. The staff are charming & attentive and the food is of a high quality. An excellent base or stop-over whilst discovering the wonderous Tsavo East NP. There was a rumour that the lodge is due to be closed to all the development of a swimming pool - hopefully rumour is all this is as it would ruin a charming, nature lovers lodge. |

Stayed for our first night in Kenya. Very friendly greeting and cool drinks. Setting next to the water hole was brilliant. Elephants were the first to arrive for afternoon tea!
Evening meal on the deck overlooking the water hole was wonderful. Woke at two am and spent 30 mins on or balcony watching 200+ buffalo drinking at the waterhole in the moonlight - unforgettable.
Game drive saw our first elephant, giraffe, waterbuck, hartebeeste, zebra, buffallo, Impala, Grants and Thompsons gazelles |

Had a fantatic time during my stay at Ngutuni lodge. The staff and service were excellent along with the accommodation. Staff told stories of animal viewing and their own personal experiences. We watched Cheetah for over 1 hour hunting just 1 mile from lodge and then caught up with them the following morning for another hours viewing. |

ACCOMADATION AND FOOD SUPERB
STUNNING VIEW OVERLOOKING A WATERHOLE WITH ELEPHANTS AND MANY OTHER ANIMALS COMMING TO DRINK,WHICH YOU CAN WATCH FROM YOUR BALCONY. WAS THERE IN NOV 2006 WAS ONLY THERE 20 MINS BEFORE A HERD OF ELEPHANTS CAME TO PLAY IN THE WATERHOLE. ALL THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FREINDLY AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ON THE WILDLIFE.

My wife and I, along with our 5 year old son stayed here in August 2002 and had a brilliant time. The staff never wavered from providing us with a memorable experience and along with the watering hole situated just across from the open aired dining area this truly was a breathtaking if not very short stay. I would recommend this lodge to anyone, the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the food was out if this world. This partiular part of our Kenya holiday is still much talked about today!! |

the lodge was nicely decorated overlooking a watering hole which may be viewed from the rooms if lucky 2nd floor had the better views. food okay but two lunches and one dinner there any longer and the food may have been repetitive and basic. Animals on that side of the park were hard to find. The evening game drive being the best take the oppertunity to do the night one but after a long day and early start some may be too tired.The watering hole was not that active at any time,so its luck of the draw.Overall a good experience, the shop wasn`t over priced either !!! |

what an amazing expierence, we were eating our dinner in the resturant and out of the darkness a herd of 12 elephants came and drank from the water hole, it was spectacluar. this made our honeymoon |
