i went on safari to the masi mara. i saw loads of animals including:lions, elephants, rhino, giraffe, baboons, eagles, vultures ,cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles and antalope. on the safari i got chased by a baboon and walked to see 3 white rhino's i got about 5ft away from a rhino it was ace. i can't wait to go again. |

On a cool and breezy day, just after the rains, a group of us were out looking for lions on the Plains of the Maasai Mara. What we saw was anything but normal. It was four lions perched atop an acacia tree. Seeing lions draped across a branch of a tree is not in itself, unusual, but seeing a pride of four sleeping on top of a tree is very rare. On the adjacent tree, there were four more lions, all hidden within the canopy of the tree. This was just such an unusual sighting, the photo I took of the pride on top of the tree was published on the cover of Jamhuri magazine. This was just outside Serian Tented Camp in the Maasai Mara. |

we went to kenya in feb 2007 and nov 2008 and we are coming back again end of jan 2010 beginning of feb for a 2 week hols we love it last year we visited the daphne and david sheldrick elephant orphanage it was wonderful to see the babies feeding at lunchtime we are wanting to go back again to see the elephants again she is doing a 1st class job what a job!!and we did the giaffe centre to these are a must trip visitors must do and go on safari fantastic |
