I recently visited Larsens in Kenya and was highly impressed. I found the staff to be exceptional - friendly and very helpful. I was impressed with Joshua, my driver for the safari journeys, and the care he took to make sure that each game drive was successful. I highly recommed this camp to anyone who is looking for an excellent experience. I also want to commend Florence for her openness in helping a guest travelling by herself, feel comfortable and relaxed. My thanks to all of the staff for the excellent care, courteous service - and, the great food. |

My sons and I spent 3 glorious nights at Larsen's Camp. It was our favorite stop along our two week safari tour of Kenya. The luxury tents and common areas were in the perfect backdrop with perfect ammenities. The staff at Larsen's was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The food and service were impeccable. As a woman traveling alone with children, we felt safe and welcomed. We made friends for life. We didn't want to leave! |

Loved, loved, loved this place. Intimate, wonderful dining, beautiful tents, elephants in the river in the am, and nothing but sheer joy. Service was excellent, the Vervet monkeys were a blast, and we would go back at any time, any place. Highly recommend it to anyone. It's a first class place. |

In a word, "Wow!" My sons (ages 8 & 10) and I traveled throughout Kenya over a 14-day period and our favorite by far was Larsen's Camp. The staff were absolutely wonderful and attentive, the tents were everything we could have wanted and more. The food was glorious. The grounds were very well kept and hands-down we selected this location as our favorite. Ambiance, peace, elegance, rustic. There is so much to see of the world, but we continue to say we want to go back to Larsen's! Thank you to every staff member for making our visit from America so very memorable. |

Although it's been over ten years since I was in Kenya, I have to say it was right up there with one of the best experiences of my life. On my second trip to Africa ('98) I went to Uganda to do a gorilla trek and for anyone thinking about going to Africa I can only say, "don't think - DO!"
You will remember the experience forever! |

Larsens camp is a wonderful place to learn the magic of Africa. The sounds of the animals and trees are all around you, especially when sleeping. Staying at Larsens will definitely not disappoint. |

Absolutely unique setting along the river. Wonderful wildlife viewing, esp. the elephants that come to drink close by. Food marvellous, staff terrific. This was my favorite place among the many fine accommodations we enjoyed on our 2-week safari. My tent was beyond luxurious -- straight out of a movie set. All in all, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. |
