my friends really enjoyed while they were staying at your hotel. They experienced true swahili hospitality. They really like your place. Keep it up.

My four day stay at Kipungani was the ultimate in a quiet vacation spot to completely unwind with no disturbance. Great service, food, staff and exotic accomodation.

I was serving up in BATUK (British Army) in Nairobi when I got the infinate idea to come here. From day one everything was fantastic, food, service, peace and quiet, all was great. Then it dawned on myself and the other half that it was actually very very quiet. Not just "desert Island" quiet, but we hadnt seen anyone since the first night in the bar about 18 hours before. This is a relaxation Island, and you realy need to switch off when you get here, not just a "I wont think of work" switch off, I mean a complete switch off from anything other than having a chilled time, good food, great staff and relaxation at its greatest.

Kiwayu Safari Village
The best season for snorkeling is 1st november to 30th April. the best time for diving is November or March when the waters are their calmest and clearest . the fish life is spectacular in numbers and size of fish . the coral has suffered from the 1997 el Nino which did so much damage in the indian ocean . there are very few other tourist there and its not really explored .

WOW, WOW, WOW......I look at the pictures of the two days we stayed there and realize that to experience this ever again, we will have to come back. Dont go here if you are afraid of the outdoors and what it has to offer. GO HERE if you want an experience that you will truely never forget. The owners and their kids are the greatest. Also, you have to have the DAWA made by TOM!!!!! Tell them Greg from Nebraska said you had to try it. WOW. Great. We miss this place and what it meant to us. Someday we will be back. I Promise!!!!

Lamu Palace Hotel
I count myself fortunate to have spent a few days at this wonderful hotel. The quality of service offered by the entire staff, the beauty of the building itself, the excellence of the cuisine all help make this one of the finest hotels this, sometimes weary, traveller has ever stayed in. Truly an island paradise.

Lamu Palace Hotel
Although our stay was too short at this friendly, magical hotel, the memories have been with us for years, and gives us a determination to return for a longer stay. We had time to stare at the boats, and general day to day activities of the people, and their donkeys whilst taking a drink or reading. And then taking a boat over to the island of Manda, which equals the beaches and waters of the Maldives. Lying on hammocks, drinking from the beach bar, whilst waiting for lunch bought over from Lamu Palace. This Island and people are the paradise you look for in a holiday.

We would like to thank all of you for the warm reception that you gave during our stay in Lamu Palace. We really enjoyed our honeymoon to the brim. We shall leave to remember Manda beach and the sweet meals. We will tell others about your good hotel.

Manda Bay Lodge
Oh.. what magical memories! We visited when Manda Bay was called Blue Safari and Bruno cooked astonishing white lasagna for us. Of all the places on earth-this is truly one of the most wonderful. Absolutely stunning, peaceful and private. After many adventures we are finally coming back. This is a rare and wonderful find.

My team stayed there several times during the fall of 2006 and I will say it was probably the most beautiful place I have ever been to and the staff and accomidations were wonderful. I can't wait to come back.

Munira Island Camp
We were there last jan and we had a great time that much so we are trying to get back this feb if there is room. The host is very helpful and i cannot think of another place in the world where i have felt so relaxed in such a short period of time. The only setback was the fact we picked going from Lamu to the camp by speed boat. It was fast but i think it would be better to take the very slow boat or fly in which is the best option in my book. Look forward to going back
