On several occassions I stopped at the property for lunch and found it very relaxing to be in such pleasent surroundings. As an ex Africa man I can say without hesitation that I felt very much at home at the Club. The buffet in the garden and the service on all occassions was very good.
I will be back again. |

Crescent Island is a must if you stay here. To walk amongst giraffe, zebra and gazelles etc and listen to woodpeckers - lovely. The lake is lovely and the kingfishers are beautiful. The lodge is very comfortable with lovely food and very friendly staff. We keep coming back so must be good. |

I spent two nights there in the lake cottage with my family and you know what the second night a buffallo got trapped between the wall of our cottage and the fence .It struggled and disturbed us the whole night till it broke the fence and ran away,My children can never forget that day .It was a very exciting holiday |

After spending three happy visits enjoying good food we were shocked, shaken and disappointed when an inside job robbery from locked rooms during our 4th visit (over breakfast) ruined our stay. What made it worse was that the then management pretended to care but did nothing to recompense us or replace our lost camera and computer. We were palmed off for over 2 months giving them the benefit of the doubt before writing this. Security is no longer important, sadly, and it seems foreigners may be particularly targetted since 2 locked rooms with foreigners in were targetted at the same time whilst others who had laptops etc with them on business trips were OK.
Great location and lovely place (particularly good food) if you don't mind about security!
