I was in Fig Tree Camp last september 2004 and it was loverly, very kind people. The game drives into the masai mara were breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to see "the Big Five" I'm looking forward to come again. |

This was our favorite stop on Safari, it was so peaceful and quiet and beautiful. It was very accomadating but yet small enough to feel home - like and charming. The staff were excellent and the food very good. Our Safari walk with "William" was very educational and interesting - we learned about the plants the Masi use to brush their teeth and as sandpaper for wood carving and more. I hope to return to Fig Tree Camp someday - |

I went to the Fig Tree Camp for a three night stay with a group from Baylor University, and during our stay, the staff was very welcoming and the place was well-kept. They served lots of great, exotic food, and i loved the entertainment! If I ever had the chance to go back to Africa, I would definitely stay at Fig Tree Camp! Thank you for making our stay pleasurable! |

Hello,
I'm french and I've just spent three days in Fig tree Camp lodge. It was great, I would like to thank all the staff, in particular Paul and Dickson, two waiters. If they could answer to me, I would be happy.
Best wishes
Louis, from Paris |

My grandson and I visited Fig Tree last June, 2005. We absolutely loved our experience there. The staff was very friendly- important to a 12 year old. We enjoyed the bar area. The food was good and the location was convenient. We took a balloon ride, and were glad that the launch area was nearby. I highly recommend Fig Tree. |

I was very pleased. The wildlife at night across the river was so peaceful. We had a leopard join us in the camp which made for quite a raucus....Monkeys were everywhere. The staff was very polite and informative. It is an experience I will never forget. The safari itself was so enjoyable. Thank you. |

I was there with some traveling companions, and we had a great time. The food was a pleasant surprise, the tent in which I stayed was a nice mix of comfort and rough. The staff was very accommodating. We saw a great diversity of animals on our drives. I definitely recommend Fig Tree. |

I visited Fig Tree in June 2000 and had a fantastic time. I'm currently saving up to return to Kenya with my boyfriend and Fig Tree is definitely on our list of places to go.
I stayed for 3 nights in one of the permanent tents and was awoken at 2am by the hippo taking a mud bath at the, then very dried up, river. I saw a great deal of animal life on the game tours and the driver, Patrick, and Masai guide, William, were both fantastic and full of information. The food was superb, huge numbers of courses for each meal, which you just can't say no to! What finished off a perfect day was sitting round the camp fire in the evening telling tales.
I'd recommend Fig Tree to anyone. |

We hav been visiting fig tree twice, and are looking forward to bee bach again in sept 2004. It is simply the most kindly and warm camp at all Mara.
Everybody from tentboys to gardenpeople, to waiter to the chef, the dancers are doing a great job, with a lot of people warmnes, kindnes and carring about us and our safari...It is so nice, there is no hurry, no stress, just kindness- we miss it so much.
See you all in sept. |

This was an outstanding camp. The most friendly peronnel. Good food. Beautiful tents with a beautiful view. Excelent safari guidance. Is perfectly located to see all the animals, no long drives to located animals. You should definitely take this camp to stay in!!!!! I also went to the Intrepids Camp, not even close!!!!! |

We visited at the end of September, 2003 and spent 2 nights. It was wonderful. The accomdations were excellent. We felt on safari, yet will all the luxuries of home. The food and service was first rate. I would recommend this camp to anyone and will return for my next visit. |

An excellent site with good food and other fascilities. The location of the camp meant that game trips were easy to organise and the minimum tine was spent getting into the reserve allowing plenty of time to watch most of the major animals, no leopards! |

I have visited Fig Tee Camp for the past 5 years and I shall be there again this September, 2006. In all my life traveling the world I have never found a place that is so "at home" my wife and I do a safari every year. I always say the only place to close our safari is at Fig Tree Camp. The staff are super friendly and obliging. I will mention by name John, Martin,Kennedy and Joseph and I am being unfair to the rest of the staff at Fig Tree they are all great. I will close this review with a Masai saying. "Mountains can never meet but friends will always find away" |
