The Southern Tanzania Safari 5 Days/4 Nights safari program delivers a true discerning wilderness experience with the opportunity to view wildlife that have limited human contact considering the small numbers of tourists that arrive at the parks and reserves. This program also delivers the ability to spot wildlife that are not easily found around other common parks in Africa like the African painted/hunting dogs and lesser kudu. The personalized experiences on Southern Tanzania Safari's off the beaten track journey visits the Selous Game Reserve, the biggest reserve in Africa with huge numbers of elephant, buffalo population among other wildlife and plentiful birdlife. Activities are fascinating with options of a river boating safari, day game drives, bush fly camping and walking safaris in the Selous. This experience combines the Ruaha National Park whose borders were recently increased to protect more wildlife, birdlife and plant species making it the second biggest national park after the Serengeti albeit without the huge tourist crowds.
