The Highlights Of Tanzania Safari is designed to provide an opportunity to experience the prime park & reserve ecologies of Tanzania by providing a genuinely varied experience along with a diverse set of nature activities viewing wildlife on land and on the water. The consideration made in Highlighting Tanzania were: (1) Lake Manyara (Tier 2 Only) - experience the ecosystem of the Great Rift Valley providing a great way to sample diverse wildlife and birdlife with in a short time. Lake Manyara also indulges guests who enjoy the outdoors with a variety of active offerings. (2) Ngorongoro Crater - considered one of the true wonders of the world delivering awesome and spectacular views of the crater with the opportunity to descend the crater floor for a game drive. (3) Serengeti - home to the wildebeest, zebras and antelopes during the great migration season. The presence of migration attracts prey and predator to partake in the cycle of life, which is eloquently described in AfricanMecca's poem about the Serengeti. (4) Selous - one of the wildest parks in Africa encapsulating Africa's most sought after experiences in one single location: game driving in a vehicle, watching wildlife from the river rather than on land and trekking the expanse with guided walking safaris. The safari program completes its circuit at either Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar Airport (being the hub of departing airlines). This program can allow for a few days of relaxation by the beach before your outbound departure.
