Our Special Honeymoon In Africa With AfricanMecca

From Dannny: Loretta and I had a great time on our honeymoon in Kenya and Tanzania. Our favorite part of the whole trip was the time we spent at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Although the photos on your website do show that the lodge is nice, they really don't capture all of it's beauty. It is something that needs to be seen and experienced in person in order for it to be truly appreciated. One of the highlights while staying at Crater Lodge was returning from our all day safari and finding that our personal butler had set our bubble bath and lined the entire bathroom floor with rose petals. That was a very pleasant surprise after returning from a long day exploring the crater floor.
We both also really enjoyed our time in the Serengeti. We were able to witness the wildebeest migration and saw literally over 1 or 2 million animals trekking across the plains of the Serengeti. After seeing such an abundance of animals in the Serengeti, our expectations of the other parks we visited were very high.
Although we were there in the low season, we were fortunate to have great weather for the entire trip. Since it was nearing the end of the rain season, we were expecting to have a very wet trip. We were pleased to go almost 2 full weeks before seeing our first rain in Mombasa. Although we did get some rain in Mombasa, we still did get plenty of sun as well.
Overall, my wife and I had an amazing time and would recommend AfricanMecca to all we know wanting to have a great time in Africa. Your attention to detail and knowledge of Africa left us feeling at ease as we prepared for our journey. All of your diligent planning and thorough preparation enabled us to have an unforgettable honeymoon.
From Loretta: Just to add to Danny's feedback. Simiton, your safari guide in Tanzania, was awesome! He was very professional, very accommodating and very knowledgeable. He took us out all day long only stopping for the occasional bathroom break and to eat our packed lunches. He gave us the experience of a life time.
Thank you for your diligence in planning our trip. Danny and I had a fabulous honeymoon and we are already talking about our next trip to Africa!
